My mission is to provide holistic psychedelic care using a trauma-informed approach that integrates the body, heart, mind, spirit and energy by reawakening your intrinsic healing instinct and power. I guide you through the complete psychedelic healing cycleβ preparation, journey, and integrationβ using somatic and creative techniques developed from my path as an artist-healer and rooted in the nature-based tradition of my indigenous Andean and shamanic Eurasian ancestry.
As a professionally trained and experienced integration coach, I have the tools and understanding to help you discover your inner healer and finally release the trauma, memories, and emotions stuck in your body and spirit. While I have studied and trained with leaders in the embodiment and psychedelic movement, I firmly believe that nothing replaces real life experience. No amount of textbooks, degrees, or certifications equals the empathy, attunement, intuition, lived experience, and wisdom necessary for the work of healing trauma with psychedelics.
With that said, I am certified in the fundamentals of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from Numinus (a training partner of MAPS)βand also work as a training instructor thereβso that all of my work is complementary and cohesive with any psychotherapy my clients do or may need. I have a decade of extensive training in movement, embodiment, imagination, and energy-body techniques and I incorporate many of these methods into my programs. Drama is the art of human experience and connection, and I believe that artists are the best trained facilitators for experiential healing.
If this resonates with you, contact me to see how I can help you on your path.
My name is Masha and I am an indigenous artist-healer with an ancestral heritage of medicine women. Born in Cuenca, Ecuador, I am an Andean native (andina) of the Quechua-speaking peoples, where my paternal family lives to this day. As a child, I learned about land stewardship and plant healing during summers with my late grandmother in the Caucasus steppes of Russia. These earth traditions form the beginnings of my path as a healer. Most of what I use today are skills, techniques and knowledge gained from a lifetime of walking this shamanic path (ΡΠ°ΠΌΠ°Π½). After suffering from PTSD and complex trauma, I traveled into the depths of human experience where I developed my own hard-won methods of embodied trauma healing.
Taking the first step in healing is often the hardest and requires a lot of courage. The fact that you are here reading these words and seeking help is a big deal. Be proud of yourself for taking that step and searching for a way to heal. There are many paths to healing and I would be honored and humbled to be a part of yours.
I see clients via video anywhere in the world. I am also available for in-person sessions and customized ceremonies in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. (Healing garden space coming soon!)
Whether you have recently gone on a therapeutic psychedelic journey, are about to embark on a plant medicine journey, or need guidance on how to start healing from trauma, I am here to help.
Growth is a process of discovery, learning, and internalizing what has changed. We must integrate the experience for it to make a lasting impact in our lives. When overcoming trauma, this is even more necessary to the healing process. There are various methods to integrating a psychedelic healing session; ideally, it includes all parts of you--mind, heart, and body.
Everything we do is completely confidential and private. What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, similar to seeing a psychotherapist. You can give me explicit permission to share chosen parts of your sessions with other people, including your care team or loved ones. I treat your (and my own) privacy very seriously.
Typically, I recommend a minimum of three sessions for general plant medicine work, such as self-growth, insight, stress reduction, spiritual exploration, etc. This can change depending on your case and intentions.
For trauma work, if you already have a medical/psychological care team in place, I recommend at least 1-2 preparation sessions, the medicine session (with or without me), and 2-3 integration sessions. For PTSD, complex, developmental, or sexual trauma, more sessions are usually best practice so that you can fully take advantage of the healing the plant medicines are giving you. With trauma, each case is truly individual, and I do offer packages for trauma healing, so please do reach out with any questions.
